Religion:

About 80% of the population is Roman Catholic, though in recent years a number of Protestant churches have been established. There is also a small Muslim community in Dominica, and the nation's first mosque was built recently near Ross University.

Languages:

English is the official language of Dominica and is universally spoken and understood. Though French is spoken by many people on the island.

Economy :

The tropical climate has turned Dominica into an agriculture-based economy so products like Banana, coffee, pineapple and other citrus are the great part of exports of the island. Dominica has also focused on tourism, ecotourism and Hotel as other economical activities. The national currency of Dominica is East Caribbean Dollar which is subdivided into cents.

Climates:

Dominica has a tropical wet climate with characteristically warm temperatures and heavy rainfall. Temperature ranges are slight. Average daytime temperatures generally vary from 26 °C (78.8 °F) in January to 32 °C (89.6 °F) in June. Diurnal ranges are usually no greater than 3 °C (5.4 °F) in most places, but temperatures dipping to 13 °C (55.4 °F) on the highest peaks are not uncommon.

Moreover, few other airlines such as Air Canada, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, U.S. Airways, Lufthansa and Air Jamaica have daily flights to nearby international airports that can be connected to Dominica with short flights by Air Taxis or Liat couple of times on a daily basis.
